This year, I learned how to bake bread, and that kicked the year off to a great start.
I got to spend a lot more time with two little Rhoades kids as their babysitter. I loved those two funny kids to bits!
In March, two of our best friends finally got married! Joel was his best man, I was her matron of honor; I was also one of their photographers, as well as the hair and makeup person. It was one crazy, busy, as well as beautiful and Epic day : )
Before we knew it, summer came along, and Joel and I embarked on our first huge trip together - to Yellowstone National Park. Its beauty was beyond breathtaking, and we both wished we could stay there the entire summer.
On the 25th of June, 2012, we celebrated our first year of marriage in Yellowstone/Teton National Park. I can't think of a better place to celebrate that milestone : )
In August, I went on a solo trip to NYC to help a friend out with a wedding photoshoot; I also got to spend time with one of my best friends from college who just moved to the big city (I'm excited that she only lives 7 hours away from me now!)
My youngest sister started her first year in college this Fall. My parents came along with her, and that was the first time my entire family has been in the USA together!
My parents also got to come to Pittsburgh to see and experience me and Joel's life in a place we both call home now - that was very special to the both of us.
We had an incredibly beautiful Fall season this year! The Fall season also marked my first semester in Graduate School. Getting into Graduate School itself is quite a story, you should ask me about it sometime ; )
Time flew and flew, and December came along. On 12.12.12, Joel and I bought a home in Swissvale!
As the year came close to its end, I turned 24 on a beautiful Christmas day : )
And now, 2012 is ending with a beautiful snowfall ; )
